If someone, John Galliano is one of those very few designers, who always able to astonish their fans with their marvellous collections. Now he created a very colorful and interesting, absolutely original shoes collection for Dior. The 2011 spring/summer shoes collection was introduced on the Paris Fashion Week last year.
Just one personal look is enough to see how these brilliant “handmade” shoes were constructed. These amazing and fashionable sandals, super cute boots, and shoes consist of some ribbons and ropes which Galliano used as straps. The colourful plumed sandals are also very gonzo and seem to be tribal objects with full of transcendent magnetic power.
Although everyone love this collection who has ever seen, some critics suggested this collection is not a typical Dior collection. A Dior-Girl doesn’t wear a sandals like that, so much the more a Galliano-Girl. We don’t like to turn the scales, but one thing is certain, these sandals and boots fitted very well with the Dior dresses and the oversize duffle bag, which Galliano designed for the season.
So, who like the bright colours, the unexpected style, the high heels, those will love this spring/summer collection too.
